The squeeze

Operators don't lose AI deals on chips anymore. They lose them waiting for power.

The market has run out of the one thing it can't build quickly. Here's what every AI operator is up against in 2026:

0%
North American colocation vacancy — a record low, two years running
0%
Of new capacity leased before a single cabinet is installed
0
Average wait for a new grid connection in primary markets
0
Months ahead operators now secure capacity, in advance of deployment

The scarcest input in AI isn't compute. It's an energized interconnect — and ours is already in the ground.
The site

Powered land, ready for your hardware.

Everything an AI deployment needs except the chips — energized, connected, and 45 minutes from Denver.

How it works

You bring the hardware. We power the rest.

Path A — Powered land

Drop your units onto live power

For modular and containerized AI operators. Land on energized capacity in weeks, not the years a new interconnect demands.

  • We deliver: land, energized interconnect, fiber, site readiness
  • You bring: your modular units, cooling, and compute
  • You own and operate your infrastructure end to end
Path B — Colocation

Rack your servers, keep your stack

For teams deploying their own GPU servers. We provide the built environment; you retain full control of your hardware.

  • We deliver: power, cooling, space, security, day-to-day ops
  • You bring: your GPU servers and software
  • Scale from a single container into the interconnect headroom

Why now

We're allocating Q1 2027.

One to two customers. Energized capacity, reserved on selection — and a multi-year head start on everyone still sitting in the interconnection queue. Applications are reviewed in the order received, and the site is being held for the right operators.

The operator

Built by a founder who has fielded AI hardware at scale.

Front Range Compute is led by Rob Carpenter, a two-time AI founder. As CEO of Valyant AI (acquired 2024), he raised $18M and deployed AI hardware and software across national brands, with direct NVIDIA, Amazon, and Google partnerships and five AI patents. He previously founded AppIt Ventures, whose work included MyColorado — the first state-approved digital driver's license in the U.S.
